A distinctive student experience

Johnson & Wales University

This renovated 1921 jewelry factory is now the beating heart of the student experience at the renown Johnson & Wales University (JWU). Situated in downtown Providence, the Student Services Center, consolidates activities and services previously spread throughout JWU’s campus. ARC’s design preserves the industrial and historic character of the original building, while providing completely modern systems and gathering spaces.

ARC brought a tremendous amount of experience and talent to the design process. We are impressed with their willingness to understand and interpret our student service needs while preserving the historic integrity this landmark Jewelry District building.
