Uniting researchers from the Medical and Nutrition Schools, the Jaharis Center advances studies on the relationship between diet and health. Rising above its Chinatown neighborhood, the building's brick masonry with aluminum and glass curtain wall mediates between the traditional brick facades of adjacent townhouses and a contemporary research facility. Open labs and shared support/work spaces foster collaboration and allow research teams to expand or contract as needed.
