Sherman Center's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Happening Today

The ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Albert Sherman Center, designed by ARC, is happening now on the UMass Medical School Campus in Worcester, Massachusetts. A whole host of VIPS and dignitaries are in attendance, including Governor Deval Patrick, Lt. Governor (and Worcester native) Timothy Murray, UMass Medical School Chancellor Michael Collins, MD, and UMass President Robert Caret PhD, among others. Everyone is extremely proud of this collaboration – 512,000 new SF, planned, programmed, designed and built in less than four years (plus a new 1440-space parking garage) completed on time and under budget! And yesterday, we found out the project has been awarded LEED Gold certification.
