An adept problem solver who enjoys getting into the weeds of a problem to see solutions from a new angle, Maria is a true team player who enjoys learning from and collaborating with engineers and builders to create something entirely new. Her portfolio spans a wide range of building types across athletics, science, higher education, and healthcare. 

Maria developed a passion and expertise for designing buildings that shape and interact with their surroundings while managing landscape and urban design projects for the City of New York Parks & Recreation Department. A generalist at heart, she enjoys seeing a project through, from programming and concept to construction and turnover. Maria is a champion of sustainability in the built environment, and has been part of the Living Building Collaborative in both Boston and Oregon.
