Global Village Thrills

As designers of buildings and urban spaces, we often try to look into the crystal ball of the future to anticipate the possible uses.  At RIT we saw Global Village Plaza as a space that was a crossroads, a gathering place, a concert hall, a place to share a meal, a place to temporarily call home.  Not only does it feel good that this plaza has lived up to those expectations, but that a space like this can open itself up to a whole spectrum of unforeseen uses.  For just one example of the joys of the unknown, click on the image link below:
