Designed to accommodate all of Genzyme's Massachusetts research activities, the 177,000-square-foot research building, consolidates scientists who worked in multiple locations, fulfilling the corporate objective to enhance the relationship, collaboration and flow of information between research groups. Now the signature building on Genzyme's Framingham campus, the project also includes a separate 27,000-square-foot Central Utilities Building that supports the new Science Center as well as five other existing buildings on the campus.
