"At first glance, the Dolben Library looks rather Victorian, like some of its campus neighbors, but a second look at its crisp, flat, confident walls and windows show that it's very much of our time...Its solid towers, planted firmly in the earth, convey a message of responsible, enduring civic purpose..."
