Est. Completion: September 2017
The New Johnson Center for Health and Wellness for the Hackley School will create a hub for wellness, athletics, and overall student activity on campus. Nestled in the school’s wooded and rocky terrain campus the building will provide an expansive program including an 8 lane 25-yard pool, an 8 court squash center, a varsity basketball gym, a multi-purpose large gym, an indoor jogging track, a fitness center, a weight training center, and venues for wrestling and fencing. Additional support areas such as team and visiting locker rooms, training rooms, coaches offices as well as multi-purpose rooms and classrooms will provide ample space to service both competitive sports as well as recreation and wellness education for the entire school community. The new facility promotes Hackley’s holistic approach to wellness and will help foster a healthier learning environment for students and faculty.
