ARC recently completed the renovation and addition of Harvard University’s Bright-Landry Hockey Center. Our project team was on hand November 1st for the grand opening ceremony which included an exciting men’s game against Dartmouth and women’s victory against Union. The ceremony included keynote speakers President Drew Gilpin Faust and Athletic Director Bob Scalise.
The recently completed facility includes a new 20,000 square foot infill addition between the Hockey Center and the Albert H. Gordon Track. The hockey enhancements provide new team locker rooms for the men’s and women’s varsity teams, sports medicine and fitness facilities, coach’s offices conference space and a facility operations center. Upgraded spectator amenities include new concessions, souvenir, and hospitality areas as well as additional family-friendly restrooms. A new 200 foot long by 14 foot high graphic wall along the mezzanine displays the history of both men’s and women’s hockey programs.

We were happy to see a great turn out for the game and it was especially rewarding to see the players and spectators enjoying the success of the project. Harvard men tied Dartmouth with a final score of 3-3 and the Harvard women defeated Union 5-2. We wish both teams including men’s head coach Ted Donato and women’s head coach Katey Stone continued success in the new facility!
