ARC Tours Bright-Landry Hockey Center Project

Yesterday afternoon ARC toured the Bright-Landry Hockey Center renovation and addition project. The project includes an addition of 21,000 square feet of new construction and approximately 10,000 square feet of space renovated within the Bright-Landry Hockey Center and Gordon Indoor Track facilities located on Harvard’s Athletic campus. The improved facility will provide the hockey program with updated locker rooms, bathrooms, coaches’ facilities, and storage, while adding a new concessions concourse, student lounge, and function room.
The design of new front and rear entrances will be key features in updating the overall image of the existing facility. A glass entry vestibule will form the centerpiece of the addition while terra cotta cladding will complement the existing brick structures and unify the project as a whole.
It was fun to be able to show the office how the project is taking form in its rough stages. A second office tour is being planned to show the final completed space.
The project is scheduled for completion in time for the start of the academic year. It is looking fantastic!
A special thank you to Phil Vance of the Casali Group and Drew Leclerc of Lee Kennedy who volunteered their time to allow this tour to happen!
