ARC Sports Report

Recently ARC finished up our 4th and most successful season in the Architects Volleyball League of Boston. After a very up and down regular season, where we barely made the playoffs, ARC was able to make a playoff run all the way to the semi-finals. We defeated the #6 seed in the first round and the #3 seed in the second round before losing to the #2 seed in the semi-finals. It should be noted that the team that beat us went on to ultimately win the League Championship. Although we did not win the championship (this year) a lot of fun was had by all, which is really what it is all about for ARC and the Architects Volleyball League. Below are some photos of the team in action.
With the volleyball season completed all of the ARC athletes (we use the word athlete pretty liberally around here) have turned their eyes towards the Softball season which starts next week. ARC plays in the Boston Architects Softball League, games are played on fields throughout the city from Southie to Watertown or if we are lucky on one of the beautiful fields at Teddy Ebersol Field on the Charles River. For the past two seasons ARC has teamed up Wilson Architects and we are hoping for another fun and successful season. Below is a photo of last year’s team after a tough extra innings playoff loss, as you can see the team is devastated.
