Director of Business Development
ARC/Architectural Resources Cambridge is currently seeking a Director of Business Development to join its team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an outgoing personality and have a minimum of 10 years of business development experience, preferably in an architecture/AEC setting, with a proven and measurable record of success. Flexibility to travel to conferences, trade shows and potential client meetings is required.
The Director of Business Development’s responsibilities will include:
- Oversight of business development initiatives throughout the office.
- Management of targeted clients and sectors.
- Tracking of ongoing/current leads through in-house CRM database management.
- New client research and the organization of events/tours as new project leads develop.
- Initiating client contact and correspondence on a regular basis.
- Leading monthly in-house task force meetings.
- Regular attendance at industry networking events, as well active participation in related organizations (BSA, SMPS, SCUP).
- Generating business development interest and participation for employees at all levels.
- Identification of opportunities for conferences/speaking engagements.
- Develop and maintain business development budget for conferences, sponsorships, organization membership and other events.

- Flexibility; ability make creative use of resources to accomplish goals.
